About Níce

Níce G. Flores is a Los Angeles-born Chicana creative writer, director of non-fiction narratives, and copywriter. Her personal writing expresses her experience within the Latin American diaspora, aging (living), her time in the Midwest, and being an artist with ADHD. Her writing for media is eclectic, recognizing that capturing a client’s unique voice doesn’t mean giving up compelling and smart copy.

Níce’s writing began while hosting and performing stand-up comedy in both Los Angeles and the Twin Cities. In her late thirties, after a long career in sales, she set her sights on a college education. In 2022, she received her AFA in Creative Writing from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. She was featured as a poet in the Minnesota State Write Like Us program, and was awarded a full scholarship to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where she graduated with a BA in English in 2024.

Her latest work has been in film, both behind and in front of the camera. She was a junior writer and a behind-the-scenes associate for the feature film, Major Barbara (2025), produced by Kingdom County Productions. Níce also worked as an associate documentarian on the forthcoming film, Give Me Shelter (2025), a documentary that delves into the heartbreaking housing crisis on Nantucket Island, MA.
